Wednesdays December 4th - December 18th 10:30am-1:30pm $285.00 Join us for this 3-week course as we explore the magic and history of oil paint as a point of departure to fuel your artistic journey. Fall in love with paint and prepare to discover! Oil painting with Caro will provide exposure to advanced oil painting techniques and individualized feedback to each student based on their needs and interests. Each week, we will introduce and deconstruct the painting technique of an iconic artist and then create a unique work on the subject of your choosing based on what we find interesting. All skill levels are welcome. Advanced painters, be prepared to be pushed out of your comfort zone. Supplies are not included in the price of this class. All supplies can be purchased with a student discount at the Golden Eagle. Materials Required: Paper Towels/Baby Wipes/Q-Tips 1-2 canvases or panels 18x24 or larger
 Metal Palette Knife Palette Paper Pad or Reusable Palette Assorted Brushes (as large as you plan to paint) Gamsol/Odorless Mineral Spirits & Glass Jar Oil Painting Medium - Linseed Oil, Glass Jar w/lid or Metal Cup w/lid Vine Charcoal Rags (old t-shirt, towel...) Oil Paints: Titanium White Ultramarine Blue Prussian Blue Cobalt Blue Viridian Alizarin Crimson Cadmium Red (light or Vermillion) Cadmium Yellow Naples Yellow Burnt Sienna Yellow Ochre Burnt Umber Ivory Black Optional Materials: Oil Sticks Oil Pastels Mixing Mediums Please bring printed colored reference photographs of your choice (favorite landscape or other...) to work off of each class.
